Captain Ruh Diehl
Captain Ruh has been a resident of Port Charlotte for nearly 10 years, having moved from central Ohio in 2014. He is a Master Captain and very knowledgeable of boating in general and Charlotte Harbor in particular.

When you find him not on a boat, he can be found enjoy time with his wife, their four children and their families including eleven grandchildren.

Ruh is involved in several civic, fraternal, and environmental organizations, and is enthusiastic about the future of the local area.

Captain Sharyn Taylor
Captain Sharyn Taylor holds a USCG 50 ton Masters License with Sailing and Towing endorsements. She has over 25 years of boating experience with both Sail and Power vessels.

Sharyn is an Army veteran who served with the distinguished 101st Airborne Division and as a person who likes to challenge herself, she now works part time as a SeaTow boat Captain providing on water assistance to boaters on the waters of Upper and Lower Charlotte Harbor and out to the Gulf coast as well as the both the Peace and Myakka Rivers.

Sharyn and her husband John came to the Punta Gorda area 3 years ago from New Jersey and enjoy every minute of this “Endless Summer”. When not on the water Sharyn enjoys tinkering with her two Classic British Sports Cars, an MG and an Austin Healey.

Captain Peter is a salty dog. He started young, sailing from Annapolis to Seattle with his family when he was 10. He and his wife lived on a pirate ship when they were first married, and he has run everything from whale watching tours to fireboats. He has his 100 ton Captain’s license and has experience with emergency towing, offshore commercial fishing, tall ships, and yacht deliveries. Captain Peter is ready to show you a good time on Charlotte Harbor on your Red Tiki Tours adventure.

Captain Cy Cox is a USCG licensed captain. He is a 10 year US Coast Guard veteran and experienced as a boat driver and engineer. Cy enjoys scuba diving, fishing and is involved in the ministry, and currently helping his son with his power washing business in Charlotte County. Cy brings years of adventurous experience to navigation waters of Charlotte Harbor, and will bring joy to your tour.
Cy and his wife are residence of Port Charlotte area.
